The Bill (Reg. No.1306) envisages further reforming of the pension system of Ukraine. Thus, it envisages introduction of a professional pension system and improvement of the mechanism of financing pension provision of persons employed at the enterprises with especially harmful or heavy conditions of labour that presuppose allocation of old-age pensions on beneficial conditions or for long service.
Adoption of the said Bill is stipulated by the necessity to reduce financial load on the joint pension system created by the payment of early pensions to certain categories of workers.
The Committee members upheld the legislative initiative and forwarded their resolution to the profile Committee on Finance and Banking.
